    Hiring of school teacher interns (STIs) phase-1 from Government of the Punjab, School Education Department.

    I am directed to refer to the subject cited above and to state that school education department Government of the Punjab is going to launch School Teacher Interns Program (in six months) on the pattern of Higher Education Department to cope with the emerging needs of the students and to over come the shortage of teaching staff in the schools of the province. Punjab as the number of posts of teachers in all over the Punjab are lying vacant and could not be filled through direct recruitment and promotion due to various reasons. The board goal of STI in that the interns will gain knowledge about the community in which he or she is seeking career. The STIs may be hired on following terms and conditions:-

            Female:                20 – 55 years
b.                 Qualification:-
            Primary                         -        Matric (2^nd Division)
            Elementary                   -        Intermediate (2^nd Division)
            Secondary and             -        BA/BSc/BS
            Higher Secondary
2.                 Salary per Month:-
            Primary                         -        Rs. 18000/-
            Elementary                             -        Rs. 20000/-
            Secondary                    -        Rs. 25000/-
            Higher Secondary        -        Rs. 30000/-
